LIZ FLAHIVE is currently running the Emmy Nominated Netflix series GLOW, which she co-created with Carly Mensch. She was also an Executive Producer on Nurse Jackie and a consulting producer on Homeland. Liz and her husband Jeff Cox co-wrote the feature Adult Beginners, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her first play, From Up Here (MTC), received the John Gassner Playwriting Award from the Outer Critics Circle in 2006 and was also nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Her plays have been produced and developed at Manhattan Theater Club, Williamstown Theater Festival, Naked Angels, Keen Company, Sundance Institute Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation and Ars Nova. Founding member: Playgroup (Ars Nova). Recipient of MTC’s Bank of America New Play Commission. Liz is a proud, longtime volunteer with The 52nd Street Project. She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dramatic Writing.
