Jérémy Laval

writer/director Noise
Originally from Saint-Etienne, Jérémy Laval moves to Paris at the age of 18 and first works on movie sets. Passionate about cinema, he doesn’t attend a film school but instead learns the ropes of how a movie is made by helping and watching the technicians work on these movies’ sets.

After having been an assistant director on several feature films, he works for many years at CAPA TV AGENCY, a French production company where he manages the post-production of television programs and documentaries. During those years, cur off from movie sets, Jérémy Laval makes three short films: KILLING CUPIDON, TESSA N’EST PLUS LA and THE WOODS.

In 2017, he creates with his partner and friend, Vincent Raymond, a production company named FRONTLINE CINEMAN. This Company aims to defend their shared vision of a cinema that is both demanding and entertaining. With this in mind, Jérémy Laval writes and directs his first feature film, NOISE.
