Alex Freedman is a French-American drama writer from Paris, who most recently worked on the second season of Netflix's ALTERED CARBON.

After studying film and production at the Sorbonne University, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television writing. He has also worked in TV development at EPIX, and on the post-production teams of shows like AMC's HELL ON WHEELS and TNT's FALLING SKIES.

Alex hosts the weekly television writing podcast PAPER TEAM, and runs the website TV CALLING, which has been a popular resource to up-and-coming TV writers for over a decade.
