Marty Lang is an Assistant Professor of Film at the University of Central Arkansas. He is also a 2019 MFA Screenwriting graduate of California State University, Northridge, and a Second Rounder in the 2018 Austin Film Festival Scriptwriting competition. His feature writing/directing debut, RISING STAR, won Best Premiere at the 2012 Seattle True Independent Film Festival, and is streaming on Amazon.com. His producing credits include OUT OF MY HAND, an Independent Spirit Award nominee distributed by Ava Duvernay's ARRAY, and BEING MICHAEL MADSEN, starring Michael Madsen, Virginia Madsen and Daryl Hannah. He is in post-production on STAY WITH ME, a feature drama he co-wrote, directed and produced.
