Katrina G. Boyd earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Film Studies, IU Bloomington and is now an Assistant Professor at the U of Oklahoma (Norman). Her essays have appeared in the anthologies Enterprise Zones: Critical Positions on Star Trek (Westview Press, 1996) and Sooner Cinema: Oklahoma Goes to the Movies (46 Star Press, 2009). Her work on Richard Linklater’s 2011 film Bernie, originally presented at SCMS in 2014, is forthcoming in Film Quarterly
