For those starting out, the writers room can be both a dream and a nightmare. An unbridled breeding ground for new ideas and inspired debates, it can also be fraught with clashing personalities and an internal hierarchy that can be tricky to navigate. So how does the writers room work, and how do you take your ideas from pitch to draft to episode while working your way up the chain of command? Writers room veterans will sit down for a conversation on process, etiquette, and their best-kept strategies for working the room.
